Absolutely Abersoch, working with lazy bones

I feel like I should continue to write a few blog entries whilst re-vamping and re-decorating ( etc etc etc) my site just to keep you updated and not completely fall out of the loop so this was just a little 'mid-post' before September.

Last-night I did my first shift of PROPER actual work officially old enough to have to sign forms and all sorts and be put through 'the books' so to speak :P - A seven hour shift in my mothers Italian restaurant Angelina's down in the seaside town of Abersoch ( Photo's to come soon ) . I think it was a complete shock to my lazy bones though.
After the seven hours were over, my heels burned; the effect of bad circulation, and strangely, the backs of my knees ached from twisting and turning and swooping and diving to navigate around the restaurant floor with tray in hand trying desperately not to drop anything or bash into anyone. And, luckily for me I succeeded :)
I can kind-of understand why my mother loves it so much though , the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant kitchen reminds me a bit of London or some other busy city and I love the energy of it all, the urgency of it. Even at 12:30 on a Sunday ( I suppose, technically, Monday morning) Abersoch was thriving much more so then where I live, drunken teens and twenty-oughts walking/ stumbling past the restaurant almost every couple minutes, giggling and singing and skipping and falling between pubs and price lists before, I assume making their ways home to wake up in hang-over agony only a few hours later.
Funnily enough it was actually my first time SEEING the restaurant since my mother bought it with her partner those few months ago. All this time I've been worried about the investment; We have no money and putting money half-half into our house with her ex partner has led to a lot of court cases and solicitors and after two years is STILL not dealt with and we have neither the money or the will to go through that again if the restaurant goes under or their relationship does ( I'm not a natural cynic yet I'm wary of any new man in my mothers life after the nightmare that the last one turned out to be).
When I got home at 1am my joints had truly given up. I hobbled through my kitchen to scarf down some melon and a mini tortilla pizza ( Much healthier version to a pizza, recipe coming soon on my lifestyle blog :) ) then set myself on passing out on my bed. Unfortunately for me a couple of spiders had other ideas and, to cut a long story short, I ended up sleeping in the livingroom. To that end, I'm so very weary today, yawning almost once-a-minute too tired to hold up my head with the sky in shades of grey outside, wind threatening to blow down the most fragile of trees around my house and rain coming down in pockets of 'pouring' to 'lighter shower' to 'pouring' again rising the river levels to "Oh my Gosh!" status and doing little to help me feel anything but lethargic, BUT... I'm struggling to go on like the trooper I am :P

New blog name, I think not! :(

Okay, so a very short blog update for today simply stating that I am in hell trying to think of a new blog name. Once you have a sort-of name then trying to think of anything different is nigh-on impossible because the exact same series of words seems to come up over and over again. I have come up with a couple different names so far but none really seem to jump out as something remember-able and still with a little vadavoom! So:-
Memoires so truly, xox
Memoires truly xox
Memoires of a panda
Shoes and Snapshots
Lace and Lenses
oh gosh they seem to get worse and worse as they go on. I will probably end up going with the first one.
And for any people reading this back AFTER I've changed it then my name USED to be ' Weaving dreams through a looking glass'.. Something I very much approved of but at the same time didn't quite seem to roll-off-the-tongue as much as needed if I'd like to create any sort of following which I would, Of course, eventually like to have :P
I really want it to be slightly photography related, or fashion related yet it's becoming annoyingly impossible to find something :/

That's all I have to say for now, back to my suffering :P
Love Always,

{UPDATE!!} - Upon further refelction I've decided to keep my original name, perhaps even purchase the domain name for a year and we'll see where it goes from that ^__^

Once again I fail my blog... But not for much longer

Firstly, A re-edited picture so that this isn't all writing :P More to come soon :)

So, I realised that even after my last blog I still waited for ages and a half to write another blog entry simply because I'm still struggling as to what to actually do with my blog now. I've seen how blogging can be made so amazing and how it could really be used to my advantage yet at the same time, with no-one actually following my work right now no-one is coming to look here anyway so I've decided to really have a think about what to do with my blog.. in fact I wrote a blog entry on my Deviantart a few days ago and rather then summing it up here i'll just post it here :P -->

Only a couple weeks till it's back to the normal way of things, college or school if that's where you're at or work if you managed to snag the summer off :P
After starting my blog in May this year I used it for all of about 1 months or perhaps even less before deciding I didn't want to continue with my 365 day project and thus my blog kind of fell into..well, nothing :/
I've always loved to put pen to paper ( or fingers to keyboard in this case) but for the past couple years I never feel like I really have anything interesting enough to say.
I'd LOVE to restart my blog up as a whole new blog and try and aim to write and entry almost every day.
I'm not fashion savvy or obsessed with designers etc but I have my own style and my own life and I suppose it'd be more like a diary/ photo blog/ fashion blog in my own quirky way. And hopefully people will like it even though it's not particularly 'fashion' or 'photography' or anything as such in particular. I can certainly promise that It wont be like most popular fashion blogs out there and if you looked inside my wardrobe you'd certainly soon see why.
(On one hand I think I am starting to obtain a shoe fetish... One thing I never thought I'd ever say. And whilst I'm still SUPER picky with shoes and almost 97% of my heels/wedges are black. That doesn't change the fact that my 'shoes!' watch list on eBay has more then 100 items...But with no money it'll be a bit tricky to even put a dent in that list any time soon. What's funnier still, is that I'm not even an extremely 'girly' girl so wanting hundreds of pairs of shoes has completely taken me by surprise.
Basically, I'm not sure if that'll be my plan yet for the blog as i've no idea at the moment. All I know is that I plan to start it up again in September and hopefully by then I'll have a plan as to what to do with it.

Updates soon to be ^-^

So, my lovelies
It's been too long since I've last done anything through my blog. After my 365 day project dissolved the blog seemed to disappear with it for a while because I wasn't quite sure what to do of it. Continue just without the project or completely cut it off. I've decided to keep it and see what comes of it :)

I've just come back from a trip to the LOVELY London for a fashion photography course spanning over 4 days and it's an amazing city to visit right now with the Olympics really helping make this city something of a spectacle.
My camera lens is broken at the moment as so I was left to go there camera-less and I WISH i'd been able to take hundreds of photographs of all my different experiences and where I ate etc etc etc so that I could create a gorgeous blog. but... that is yet to happen I'm afraid :(

On the other hand I DO have lots of photo's from the shoots I did whilst on my short course and I'm going to be COMPLETELY revamping this blog to a whole new look and feel very soon ^-^

Whilst in London I had the opportunity to go see ' The Lion King' in Lyceum Theatre and my heart YEARNED to go back to Africa the entire time. I don't think I could fault a single of the cast members' voices, in particular Brown Lindiwe Mkhize who played Rafiki. I can't say as I've heard anyone with such African spirit of music running through her and she gave me goosebumps on more then one occasion. Even the Young Simba and Nala cast had beautiful voices. If there is a theater near you where this is being shown I suggest you buy tickets NOW! ^-^

Also whilst in London I ate at the Jamie Oliver Italian in Covent garden -> http://www.jamieoliver.com/italian/covent-garden/
I can easily admit that I NEVER go to any expensive restaurants to be honest. Buying a chine is about the most expensive I've bought in a while. Being a Vegetarian there wasn't an AWFUL lot of choice for me but luckily I eat prawns otherwise I'd really have struggled to choose anything of the menu that, in my opinion, was slightly too bare for choice. In the end I chose the 'Italian Nacho's' for starter and 'Prawn linguini' as a main. I also nibbled at my mothers 'Olives' starter.

The Italian Nacho's weren't nacho's at all but

Basically, they were SCRUMPTIOUS! :P

I will tell you more about my Photography course and London trip in my upcoming blog for now though, I am barely awake so
Love always,
